The surfaces should be dry, clean and free from contaminates such as grease, oil, dust, which can result in poor adhesion of the paint to the surface. use a suitable solvent for cleaning, old flaking paint or poorly bound surfaces must be removed completely.
New Surfaces:
Cement, plaster, gypsum board surfaces must be clean and dry. Then pretreated with one coat of a suitable diluted Sealer 1800. Then let surface to dry well.
Repainting :
Use water and soap to clean up surface, then wash with water to insure the surface is clean and dry. Then use sanding paper to release flaking material and all poorly bound surfaces, apply one dilute coat with sealer 1800. |
