This simple decorating trick is bound to please anyone who feels they have a room needing a quick "fix up".

By adding a chair rail you will discover how a little bit of effort can make an amazing difference! A chair rail adds a lot of character to a wall and the use of two colors greatly enhances the beauty of your room. Be sure to add this quick and simple decorating idea to your style file or inspiration board!

  • Select two Sipes colors that are pleasing to you and your space.
  • Divide the wall at an appropriate height (usually 36 inches from the floor) and mark with tape.
  • Apply first color of Sipes paint to either the top or bottom section and allow to dry.
  • Paint second Sipes color either above or below the taped line and allow to dry.
  • Paint a strip of molding and apply to wall where the two colors meet.
